General Kurt von Briesen – born (1886-05-03) 3 May 1886 Anklam, Germany died 20 November 1941(1941-11-20) (aged 55) Kharkov, Ukraine. He was a General of Infantry awarded the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross by Hitler for gallantry in the Polish campaign. During WW2 he commanded the 30th Infantry Division.
