This is the official post-WWII unit history of the 8th Infantry Division Artillery, published in 1945. It documents the combat record of the Division Artillery and its component field artillery battalions from the Normandy landing on July 4, 1944, through campaigns in France, Brittany, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Hürtgen Forest, the Roer-to-Rhine drive, and into Germany. The book includes a foreword from the Commanding General, officer biographies, unit insignia, battle maps, photographs, and awards rosters for each battalion.
