Vol. 3 No. 8 ……. Eyewitness Account of Guam’s First Battle ……. Cover : Death Trap On Guam ….. “Death Trap On Guam” was the photographer’s title for this picture which shows Pfc. Charles Dempsey standing on top of a Jap pillbox and keeping a sharp lookout for snipers. Sgt. Bill Young took this photograph early in the fight to recapture Guam. Other pictures by Sgt. Young of the battle for Guam appear on pages 12 and 13.
