Description
Vol. 14 No. 8
The Cover – In East Pittsburgh’s Reception Room stands a handsome trophy, dedicated to employees of East Pittsburgh Divisions who are now serving in the armed forces. Appearing on its lower band is the inscription: these men are our Brothers-In-Arms. We, who are engaged in producing the implements of war, pledge our loyal support to give them the tools of victory. Two of the brothers-in-arms were very much impressed by the trophy when they stopped in to visit at the plant a few weeks ago. They were Clyde Fulmer, formerly of Purchasing, now an apprentice seaman at Great Lakes Naval Training Station, and Walter Gausser, formerly of F-40, now a private in the military police at Fort Dix. Walter’s father is Frank Gausser, of the Claims Section. Clyde and Walter will be interested to learn that since their visit the figures on the trophy have jumped from 2375 to 2745. …….
