In 10 500 Metern Höhe und bei 51 Grad Kälte durcheilt der Wetterforscher in seinem fliegenden Observatorium die Kristallwolken am Rande der Stratosphäre, um die Beschaffenheit jener höchsten Wolkenstufen festzustellen. Mit einer „Greifpistole” entnimmt er „Wolkenproben”, die er mit Hilfe einer Miktoskop-Kamera fotografiert. Weitere Bilder im Innern des Heftes.

Clouds under the microscope.
At an altitude of 10,500 meters and at 51 degrees Celsius, the weather researcher rushes through the crystal clouds at the edge of the stratosphere in his flying observatory to determine the nature of the highest cloud levels. Using a “grabbing gun,” he takes “cloud samples,” which he photographs with the help of a microscope camera. More pictures inside the booklet.
