• Editorial Cartoon: A cartoon by A. E. Beard shows an officer kicking his hat off in frustration, captioned “Those little things you let drop may cause a lot of damage.”
• Attack on Enemy Convoy: Layout and Beaufighter Attack: Photos show the layout of a North-bound convoy off Texel and a Coastal Command Beaufighter attacking an escorting minesweeper at mast height with cannon fire.
• Attack on Enemy Convoy: Hoegh Carrier Burning: Further photos show the merchant vessel Hoegh Carrier enveloped in smoke and burning after being torpedoed, with an escorting minesweeper also on fire.
