This document is a commemorative yearbook for the 897th Signal Company, a U.S. Army Air Forces unit that served in the Southwest Pacific Theater during World War II. Activated in South Carolina in January 1943, the company deployed through New Guinea and the Philippines before returning home in December 1945.
