An American edition of “Guinea Gold” was also produced for U.S. troops and flown daily to Buna, Gona and Milne Bay. The Guinea Gold newspaper was published from Nov. 19, 1942, ( Vol. 1, no. 1 ), to June 30, 1946, ( Vol. 4, no. 230 ).
