Brooks Field
Located in San Antonio, Texas, Brooks Field served as a U.S. Army Air Forces training base during World War II, playing a key role in training pilots, navigators, and other flight crew. Originally established in 1917, it became one of the important centers within the broader Air Forces training network in Texas during the war. After WWII, it continued serving various military functions before eventually being converted into what is now Brooks City-Base/Brooks Technology Park.
