The Ordnance Sergeant

THE ORDNANCE SERGEANT is published and distributed
by The Ordnance School in the interest of Ordnance Sergeants. As a part of its mission it serves as a medium for the exchange of ideas and information among personnel of the Ordnance Department.
Opinions expressed by individual contributors do not necessarily express the official attitude of the Ordnance Department or the War Department.

Items from the field which are published are reportedly based on actual field experience, but they are unofficial and cannot be guaranteed by either The Ordnance School or THE ORDNANCE SERGEANT. However, such items are solicited, since many of them have proven successful after widespread use. All
contributions and other correspondence should be addressed to:
THE ORDNANCE SERGEANT, The Ordnance School, Aberdeen.
Proving Ground, Maryland.

Attention is invited to the fact THE ORDNANCE SERGEANT is classified as ”RESTRICTED”. The information contained in restricted publications, such as THE ORDNANCE SERGEANT,
and the essential characteristics of restricted material may be given to any person known to be in the service of the United States and to persons of indubitable loyalty and discretion who are cooperating in Government work but will not be communicated to the public or to the press except by authorized military public relations agencies.
