SUBJECT: Distribution of Aviation Engineer Notes
“Aviation Engineer Notes’ are issued monthly by the Engineer Section, Directorate of Base Services of this Headquarters primarily to furnish to the engineer component of the Army Air Forces timely reports and data useful in their training.
The mission of engineers with an air force is the rapid construction of field airdromes, their maintenance, their camouflage, and assistance in their ground defense. The broad scope of this task emphasizes the close cooperation which must exist between the Air Corps and its engineers. Much of the information contained in the publication is of general interest and value to all units of the Army Air Forces. Accordingly, the distribution of the Note. has been increased to include squadrons of the Army Air Force.
By command of Lieutenant General ARNOLD:
GEORGE E. STRATEMEYER
Major General, U. S. Air
