Nachrichten aus dem Wehrkreis XI was a Wehrmacht regional magazine for soldiers of Wehrkreis XI (the Hannover-based military district) serving in the field and their families back home, explicitly meant as a link “between the comrades who stand watch at the front… and those at home who wait for the call to the field.” It was produced with the cooperation of the district’s deputy general command (stellv. Generalkommando XI. A.K.) in Hannover.
