Der Adler 1943 Sonderdruck Red edition was similar to the regular Sonderdruck edition but with fewer pages. 

Its content was similar to the regular Sonderdruck edition but there were some differences. Those included different articles, photos or humor page on the back cover.

Some of the issues carried the DZ 215 reference number on the last page. It indicated a different printing press.
