Description

Vol. II No. 10
Cover: The PBM-3 nicknamed “Nickle Boat” has had quite an adventurous career with the United States Navy, as told in the story beginning on Page 6. When returned to the factory recently, Photographer Charles Cignatta had a Roman holiday taking pictures of the ship from every conceivable angle. It was more than taking pictures, though, as Charlie was using a new film, Auscocolor, with which he had been experimenting. That his experiments were successful is evidenced by the cover shot. Others you’ll undoubtedly see from time to time in various publications. Incidentally, we forgot to credit Charlie with the swell color shot on the October issue of The Star. Our public apologies along with belated recognition. ……. Articles Inside: … Reason For the Deacon ( Roland Lee Sansbury ) ….. Again the Month of Thanks! …..
