The Hanger was the unit newspaper for Station #3, NAW, ATC located at Houlton, Maine. The Hanger’s format was 8-1/2″ x 10-1/2″ with an average of 12 pages and it was printed from July 25, 1942 to it’s final issue on January 15, 1944. The Air Base was later turned over to the 704th Military Police Battalion and converted to Camp Houlton ( July 1944 to May 1946 ), for German Prisoners of War.
