The name of the base newspaper started out as Williams Field News, then was changed to Williams Field Airfax and later changed again to just Airfax.  It was published weekly for the for the personnel of Williams Field in Chandler, Arizona and included news pertaining to Ajo Army Air Field (AAF) also.

The newspapers are 10″x15″, of varying number of pages, full of news and photos of personnel, units and activities taking place at the airfields.
