Home Front Douglas Airview
Douglas AirviewPublished monthly by the Department of Public Relations Douglas Aircraft Company, Inc. Santa Monica, California. Format 8-5/8" x 11-5/8" with 30 - 50 pages. A majority of the magazines from 1940 to 1944 carried a poster style back cover promoting key efforts in prewar and wartime production. These quickly changed to the anti-Axis propaganda artwork depicting the "Tokyo Kid" beginning in March 1942 and continuing till February 1944.
